This farm is still in the "Gold Zone" where the mountains come down to the ocean. (To read more about the zone, please click here.)I thought that all the farms around Dominical were long gone, but not so. This one recently emerged from hiding in a long time ex-pat's inventory.

For the ecologically sensitive developer, this one is a dream. There are 3 ridges that run diagonally to the ocean, each affording white water views all the way up the coast to Manuel Antonio. The sunsets are year round, but thats not all. There is this river, and its not just a river, but it's a RIVER that is extraordinary. Creative developing could create a community with amenities around this river that would set the bar.

There are ocean view and valley view lots on the ridges. There is the riverside area, and there is a stretch of public road that runs alongside one side of the property. This is significant to a developer since the minimum lot size restriction is lifted on lots that touch the public road. So a higher density deal could be done, piano-key like lots, with a short walk to the river, and a short drive to the beach. Oh, and the beach is exceptional as well.
